Bi-Lo through 9/2
I went to Bi- Lo today and got a ton of stuff for about $15. My total before coupons was $90 after coupons $15 and I have a rebate for $10 gift card when you buy $50 worth of Kraft stuff. I got this rebate in a trade with someone at HCW, so I have no idea where it came from but she also sent me a ton of Kraft coupons that look like they came from the same flyer, so if you have it, rush on down to Bi-Lo as the sale, coupons and rebates expire on 8/30.
Newbie sidenote:
The thing I love about rebates at Bi-Lo is on their receipts if you give them your bonus card at the end, the sales price comes off at the bottom of your receipt and the items you purchased show up at their regular retail at the top. Makes it nice when you have to come up with a dollar amount. For example I bought the Kraft mac n cheese crackers that are regularly 2.99 on sale for $2 used a .55 coupon that doubled and got them for .90 a box. I bought 3 of them and then used the B3Kraft products get 1 free coupon from the All You magazine this month to get some wheat thins that . I can include all of those items towards my total which add up to $12.56 but only cost me $2.70. I did several different combinations to get me to the gross total and also bought some other things. So after my $10 rebate I really paid $5 for several bags of groceries. Oh and by the way, when you give them your bonus card last, they take off the full retail price for your "free" items, not the sale price, so I got a lot of overages. They are also giving away catalinas for $ of $$ the amounts vary, I used a $6 of $30 and a $4 off $40 and got another one today for $7 off $40.
Go through your coupons just about all the deals I've picked up have coupons expiring 8/30.

Food Lion through 8/26 Update
DELI/BAKERY
You could combine 2 coupons to get a meal deal. Some FL's have $3 tearpad q's in their deli dept. for $3 off a meal (meat and two sides) combine that with the $1 Rotisserie chicken FLIP and you may even be able to throw in the $2/$5 deli FLIP. That's $6 off a prepared meal! I checked today and the rotisserie chickens are $1 off on Friday's. They are regularly 6.97 and the sides were anywhere from $2.99 -4.99 depending on what you would get.

I ran into my friend Nancy while shopping at Rite Aid and we stumbled on some great school supply deals. There is a one page flyer with Rite Aid store supply coupons on it. It was next to their regular flyer when you come in the door. They do not expire until 9/27. Here is what we were able to get:

Buy extra school supplies
Just about everywhere you look stores have things like pencils, paper, crayons unbelievably cheap for back to school. I love what Lisa is doing over at Cents to save blog. It's not to early to think about Operation Christmas Child and with our budget looking very tight this year, I think I will take Lisa's idea and start a couple of shoe boxes of my own!

Rite Aid through 8/6
Lots of freebies and money makers at Rite Aid this week. Here is what I found:

Oil of olay facial cleanser 7.99-7.99SCR-$1 8/3 P&G= (-$1)
Noxzema razors 3.99-3.99SCR = FREE (if you're buying it you may want to see if there is a coupon inside, some have .50 inside)

Harris Teeter
I'm back from the beach, so I am cutting things short this week. I am skipping most of the grocery store ads this week except for one notable tip about Harris Teeter that Nancy gave me. I think she said it was on Charlotte Mommies and I'm sure you can find it on Hot Coupon World.
Go to Harris Teeter and buy 10 boxes of Eggo waffles. They are on sale for 1.25 ea and there are were coupons in the Sunday paper for $1/2. If you were lucky enough to buy 5 papers this week (good luck, I have been everywhere trying to find more there were some GREAT coupons this week), then you'll get your Eggo's for .75 ea. After you complete your transaction you will get a catalina that will print that you fill out and mail in for $10 rebate (no receipt needed) and there was also a rebate for Kellogg's in the Sunday paper for $10 that you can use your receipt to fill out and mail. This combination will make you anywhere from $7.50-12.50 depending on how many coupons you have and you'll have 10 free boxes of Eggo's to start the school year with. Hurry this double dip deal ends tomorrow!
Incidentally I didn't have room in my freezer for 10 boxes, so I bought 4 and combined it with some fruit snacks and dare I say more cereal. I didn't get my catalina!! However I went to customer service and the WONDERFUL people at HT, gave me $10! I love Harris Teeter. My total OOP was $3 and I still can send in my receipt to Kellogg's for my $10 rebate. So if you don't get a catalina stop by CS.
