Super Doubles @ HT!

I'm not sure how much I will like the Super Double idea. I don't think I will like it as much as Triples. I hope they don't plan on getting rid of Triples for this promotion. I guess time will tell. UPDATE: My sister-in-law called me to tell me that the 20 coupon per day policy is now in effect. HT changed their computers on 6/1 to recognize when the 20 per day limit was reached. No more multiple trips in one day. :( There must be too many people couponing!

Rite Aid through 6/27

Well at least Rite Aid is still doing rebates, even if no other drug store is! The have several things on sale this week and some freebies. Here is a list. CVS through 6/27

There are some free things this week at CVS that you can combine with a coupon for an overage. Here is one list from Centsible Savings and one from Money Saving Mom.

I read on Money Saving Mom the Always Infinity Pads that I spotted on sale a couple of weeks ago for 4.99 are still on sale and if you use the $4.99 Q from 6/7 P&G they will be .99.

Found a great coupon on Centsible Savings blog. It's a Q for $10 off $25 at Sherwin Willaims. The coupons expires 7/31 so hurry and take advantage of it. I think I'll paint my 1/2 bath.

Stein Mart Fans

Stein mart is having a 12 hour sale Saturday from 9-9. The sale features an extra 30%-50% off prices in many departments. There are coupons in today (Friday's) Charlotte Observer (page 8A) for:

Harris Teeter 3 day sale & Penguin Display

I almost forgot to post that I was at the Arboretum the other day and spotted the Dairy/Frozen Penguin tear pad coupon display, so be sure to check your local HT. Harris Teeter Super Doubles and delas through 6/23

Big news! I read on HCW that Harris Teeter is switching to Super Doubles this month, which means they will double coupons with a face value of up to $1.98. I don't know if it will replace Triples in the future or not, but it will be in place of their Triple Event from 6/24-6/30. I've read that Bloom will be have Triples that same time frame so it is looking like a busy week next week. I hope I get my new grocery list and coupon app that I downloaded for my Itouch up and running soon! A Super Doubles list has already been started at HCW.

This week looks OK there are a few things that are good deals. There is a list available here and here.

Lowes Foods 6/16-6/23

I found a few things at Lowes this week. Here is a list from Coupon Journey. Other deals I saw was the .99 lb. Turkey frozen turkey breast. It's great to roast one in the crock pot instead of the oven this time of year. Be sure to pick up an extra set of store coupons that are featured in their ad this week. They will be good through 7/7/09.

Walgreens through 6/20

Looks like Walgreens has a few freebies this week that you may want to check out. Moneysaving Mom has a pretty good list. I may have to make a run there this week. My big dilemma is whether or not I should wait for a $5 of $25 coupon or just go today!

I am not a Wal-Mart fan, but...

Every time I come out of my neighborhood Wal-mart I want to scream. Seems like they are always out of everything and I end up waiting in a HUGE line. However, I know it is a great place for one stop shopping and some people love Wally World, so for you I am posting this. I stumbled across a regular post by Censtible Sawyer before on Wal-Mart but just passed on by. CVS through 6/14

Not a whole lot this week. Coupon Cravings suggest this list and there is a $2.99 Pampers deal. Moneysaving Mom found a Father's Day 8X10 enlargement freebie and here is her list. I may get the diabetic monitor for the free $5 ECB and possibly the dove deal listed here.

Bi-Lo through 6/10-6/16

Bi-Lo is having a whopper of a sale with a ton of B1G1F items. In recent trips I have had problems using B1G1F coupons for B1G1F sales at Bi-Lo. They are now taking off the 1/2 off price. For example if you buy something that is normally $2 and it's B1G1F and you have a B1G1F coupon, they will take $1 off for the coupon. This means you get two of the items for $1. Make sense? It used to be a big money maker as they would take off full price($2) and you would get both items for free, but they aren't doing that anymore.

Anyway Southern Savers has a great Bi-Lo list.

Food Lion 6/10-6/16

The best thing I saw this week at Food Lion are the B1G1F chicken breasts with a $1 off printable coupon. We are on a low carb diet in our household for the Summer so the carnivorous menu is putting a serious dent in our budget.

I'm Back

Thank you for patiently waiting for me to return. I toyed with the idea of giving up the blog completely, because I think there are so many wonderful ones out there now. Of course many of the great ones are run by many people and not just one. It is a lot of work for one person to maintain so I think what I will utilize this blog for in the future is to get the deal saving information out there as best I can. Whenever possible I will provide a link to another blog to get you sale information. That makes more sense than me going through the ad myself and typing all the info when someone else in the blogging community has already done all that.
